The Candy AI video generator exists on the edge of the internet where creativity runs wild, and where the boundaries of ‘imagination’ are rather loosely interpreted. This is a platform where you input a character prompt, and the machine spits back AI-generated video clips that can get extremely steamy.
The first time you see it, you say, “Alright, it’s only as good as I can make it, right?” And you are quickly reassured that yes, it is; just how far is up to you.
There is no one-shot-and-done magic button with this thing. Instead, you are in charge of how things will be shaped. The character, the setting, the general vibe of the video are all up to you. This makes Candy AI stand out in a lot of ways.
A comprehensive guide of how to use Candy AI Video Generator
Based on the screenshots, the flow goes like this:
- Select a Character
- Start Video Generation
- Login / Sign up
- The Created Video / Final Video
Note, the UI shown says Generate Image, however it seems that the same UI flow of Character + Prompt is used for the video generation.
Step 1: Select a Character
Step 1a: The first screen is the character selection screen.
In this screen you’ll find:
- Generate Image
- Select character
What you can see here
| Feature | What it does |
| Back arrow | Returns to the previous screen |
| Anime tab | Shows anime-style characters |
| Guys tab | Switches to male characters |
| Character cards | Displays available characters |
| Pink border | Shows the selected character |
| Select button | Confirms your choice |
Nari, Yama, and Trixie are the visible characters. Nari is selected in this screenshot, as you can tell by the pink border around her card.
Choose the character you’d like and select by pressing.
Step 2: Prepare for Video Generation
Once your character is selected, you’ll be taken to the following setup screen:
On the left side, you’ll find a preview of your chosen character. In the screenshot below, we’re using: Nari Yoo (You can see the features of this character in the screenshot below.)
| Feature | What it does |
| Character preview | Shows the selected character |
| Prompt box | Let’s you describe the scene |
| Suggestion tabs | Helps build the prompt |
| Quick chips | Adds preset ideas |
| Number of images/options | Selects output quantity |
| Generate Image button | Starts generation |
Prompt area
This is the box where you define what you want to generate. Feel free to add as many details as you’d like: the setting, what characters are wearing, what they’re doing, their poses, their expression, the camera angle, etc.
Suggestion categories
The following categories of prompts appear:
- Suggestions
- Outfit
- Action
- Pose
- Accessories
- Scene
The most useful chips:
- Bikini
- Skirt
- Lingerie
- Crop top
- Leather
- Mini skirt
Quantity
You can select any of the following numbers of images you want AI to generate at a time:
- 1
- 4
- 16
- 32
Always start with 1 to test out how well it goes. Once you’ve done that, click the Generate Image gradient button
Step 3: Sign Up or Log In to your account
On the account screen you will see the following:
| Feature | What it does |
| E-mail field | Enter your email |
| Password field | Enter password |
| Minimum 6 characters | Password requirement |
| Create Free Account | Creates your account |
| Social login | |
| Discord | Social login |
| X | Social login |
| Sign in | For existing users |
The left side says:
Your choices will be saved
So, signing up likely just saves your chosen char, settings, and result.
Step 4: Generated Video / Final Output
Once you’ve successfully signed up, you can expect the tool to proceed with the generation process and present the final video.
Unfortunately, since none of the provided images display the end state of the video generation, the most logical conclusion is that the generated video will appear once it’s done processing.
At that point, you can:
- Check to see if you are satisfied with the result.
- Edit your prompt or change your character, if necessary.
Final Thoughts
It doesn’t over-promise or try to be too clever, but Candy AI Video Generator just works, and there’s something nice about this approach. You get to create things with it very quickly, and the fact that you get immediate feedback is part of what makes the tool fun to use. If you are like me, you’ll find that you end up spending far more time than you initially planned on experimenting with this app.
And the flow is very simple:
Select character → fill in the prompt → register → create video
The best features of the interface are the well-designed character cards, the prompt tabs that make it easy to see what’s available, the suggestion chips, and the prominently displayed create video button. Create a single video at first and see if that works for your workflow and then increase the number from there.
